Choir Competition

The Last Choir Singing Competition 2015

We are delighted to be a part of The ‘Last Choir Singing’ Competition 2015, which is a Lancashire-wide choir competition for junior school children.  The event is organised and sponsored by True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners in partnership with the Music Services in Lancashire, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen. 76 junior schools have registered for the competition proving that music education is thriving in all our schools.

Our school will be singing in one of the six regional heats running at the end of February through to the end of March 2015.  The County Final will be taking place on Friday 19 June 2015 at King George’s Hall, Blackburn.  All the schools taking part in this competition will have won their Regional Heat and have made it through to the County Final, so we know the quality will be high.

The winning choir will receive £1000 towards music equipment for their school.  The runner-up will receive £500 and winners of each of the regional heats will receive £250.  The winner will also be awarded with the True Bearing Chartered Last Choir Singing Trophy.
